Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by the club president, Sally Craig, at
7:00 pm, with 22 members and guests present.
Minutes: The minutes of the August 2025 meeting, submitted and emailed to the members, were
approved as filed.
Financial Report: The financial report, showing a cash balance of $3,021.04 was presented by
Treasurer, Richard Layne, and was approved as read.
Speakers:
Kat Cano, Tarrant County Elections Ballot Board member
• Ballot Board responsibilities include early voting, provisional ballots, Vote by Mail ballots,
and election integrity.
• Representatives from the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian Parties serve on the
Ballot Board
• Kat explained the process of matching signatures for VBM
Candidates:
Michelle Winder, Candidate for HD99 Texas House
• Just launched her campaign and getting plans organized.
Rodney Lee, candidate for JOP. Pct 4
• Hosting a karaoke night fundraiser at McFly’s Pub 9/24/2025
• Should be a fun night. Try to attend.
