WE ARE BACK - NWTP will return to monthly meetings starting this month, utilizing the Zoom video conferencing service over the internet. More than four months have passed since our last in person meeting. So far, efforts to contain the spread of the virus have not been as successful as we had hoped, and it seems unlikely NWTP will be able to meet in person for the foreseeable future.

With the election fast approaching every citizen has a vested interest in our country and every vote matters. NWTP members need opportunities to hear candidates speak, voice their concerns, and make contributions of their time, talent, and treasure to advance democratic candidates and policies.

Please join us for our July meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, July 15, at 7:00PM. You will receive a second email with a link to access the meeting. In the meantime, please reply to this email with your requests and suggestions of topics; including candidates, progressive organizations, and causes, you would like to see and hear about at upcoming meetings.

Participation in Zoom meetings is easy using the Zoom App on a smartphone or a tablet. Zoom meetings can also be accessed from the Zoom website using an internet connected computer that has a camera, speakers or a headset, and a microphone. Many of you may already be familiar with Zoom. For those who are not, answers to common questions and video tutorials are available on the Zoom website at: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us

Thank you all for your support of NWTP and this effort.
