Northwest Tarrant Progressives Minutes: General Meeting, Wednesday, January 18, 2023

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by the club president, Michael Stackhouse, at

7:00 PM, with 10 members and guests present. We met at Panera Bread in Lake Worth.


Minutes: The Secretary, Sally Craig, presented the minutes from the November 2022 general meeting. The minutes were approved as presented.


Financial Report: The treasurer, Haley Stackhouse, presented the financial report, with a cash balance of $873.50. The treasurer’s report was approved as presented.


Speakers: 


There were no guest speakers.


Michael Stackhouse led a discussion about multiple topics.

First, the upcoming Municipal Elections (May 6). We are going to invite various candidates to speak to the club who would like for our members to help with their campaigns.

We also discussed how there is always a need for election judges and clerks.

Second, it was discussed and decided that the club will remain with the present provider for our website for the year of 2023.

Michael also discussed the Christmas party at Mimi Coffee’s house.


Anthony Sosa discussed the need for more precinct chairs in District 99.

We are going to invite all the existing District 99 precinct chairs to our club meetings.


Announcements: 

The next CEC meeting will be on April 11 at 7:00 PM. It will be a Zoom meeting.

There will be a Tarrant County Party Fundraiser held towards the end of March, no date was announced at this time.
