About Us
The Northwest Tarrant Progressives were founded in March of 2017. In January of 2019 the NWTP registered as a Political Action Committee, primarily focused in the Northwest Tarrant County quadrant. We are a grassroots organization, that works with the Tarrant County Democratic Party, the Texas Democratic Party, and other local democratic organizations in Tarrant County.
We are Northwest Tarrant Progressives, a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering the residents of Tarrant County. Our mission is to foster local engagement and advocate for progressive policies that build a more equitable and vibrant future for our region.
We engage the local communities and bring the public into the political process, by registering new voters and informing current voters of important updates and/or changes that may be taking place.
We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month to discuss important issues, to host guest speakers, and to act as a beacon for the local community to become engaged in politics at the local and state level.
